Here at Active Goals, your privacy is very important to us and we will therefore only collect and use data we feel is necessary to the customer care and services we provide.
Privacy Policy – This website does not share personal information with third parties nor do we store any information about your visit to this site other than to analyze and optimize your content and reading experience through the use of cookies.
We do use third parties to handle your shopping, check-out and payment process – Woo commerce, Paid Memberships Pro and Stripe. You can turn off the use of cookies at anytime by changing your specific browser settings. We are not responsible for republished content from this blog on other blogs or websites without our permission.
For active personal training clients – we do collect and hold data regarding your contact details so that we can get hold of you when required, your activity levels and health so that we are able to best advise on your health and fitness goals, your sporting preferences and current and past activity levels so we can best advise you. These details will all be contained in questionnaires that we ask you to complete and will be made obvious to you that we are collecting this data. Where Active Goals is acting as an agent, payment processor and service provider for your chosen trainer, your data will be shared between your trainer and Active Goals as appropriate to maintain a high level of service. We may also need to share this data with trainers’ insurers, if required. We do also use My PT Hub to provide us with the Active Goals app where you will store some of your personal data. You can see the data store here at any time by viewing your account in the app or the web portal.
Unless you request otherwise, your data will be held for a period of two years, once you cease to be one of our customers, and deleted at the end of the following financial year. At this point, if you decide to become a customer of Active Goals again, you will need to start as if you were a new customer. You can request that we delete your data at any point by using the contact me form. As a data subject you have rights. Terms & Conditions – You should understand that when participating in any exercise or exercise program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in exercise or exercise programs from Active Goals, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities and assume all risk of injury to yourself. If you have any medical conditions, you should consult a doctor before starting any exercise program. You must also complete our PAR-Q (Physical Exercise Readiness Questionnaire) before attending your first session.
Cancellations – It is understood that sometimes sessions will need to be rearranged for reasons outside of your control. You will need to give 24hrs notice to reschedule your session, otherwise we will still need to charge for the session in full.
Monthly subscriptions provide you with you chosen number of sessions each week of the year and will be calculated based on the first two months being 4 weeks and the third month being 5 weeks in each 3 month period. This will continue on a rolling basis for the length of the subscription.
If you have signed up to a group session and are unable to attend one or more of those sessions, but the session still goes ahead at the pre-arranged time with the other members, then it will not be possible to rearrange or refund your unattended sessions.
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in delivering their part of the agreement in the case of a force majeure event.
You can cancel your subscription at any time using the contact form. Please ensure you give 2 days notice prior to your next payment being due. Following this, no further payments will be taken.
Occasionally your session may need to be cancelled due to trainer sickness or holiday. In this instance, you may choose to roll over your session(s) to the following week. Otherwise, your next payment will be reduced by the pro-rata amount for that session.
