The first step on your health and fitness journey is the initial consultation. This gives us the opportunity to discuss your current fitness level, what you’re looking to achieve and set goals.

I work with you to find a level of change that suits you and that you will be able to stick to. We will look at what activity levels and exercise you need to complete to achieve your desired goals. We’ll put together a weekly programme for you to complete. We’ll look at your nutrition and work out where we can improve this to match your needs. We’ll examine any other obstacles we need to overcome and find ways to work around these. This holistic approach to your health and fitness will substantially increase your success. You’ll be accountable, motivated and challenged to achieve better, faster results.

I have been a level 3 qualified personal trainer for 14 years. Having experience working for both commercial gyms and owning my own fitness business. Although I’ve helped clients with a range of goals, weight loss / general fitness and muscle gain have been my most prominent areas of expertise.
Absolutely, I like to help clients achieve goals that are personal to them. Although many of my clients have a generic goals in mind such as weight loss or muscle gain, I look to add some specific fitness goals too. These could be things such as performing a pull up, a 50KG squat or holding a plank for 1 minute. Having smaller more specific goals keeps motivation high and helps my clients achieve something personal to them that they may have always wanted to do.
All of my fitness options come with some level of support.
Everyone gets access to my private, client only, Facebook group with motivational posts, sharing of articles and ideas. This is a small motivational community where clients can discuss specific topics, share recipes / ideas and support each other.
Depending on which option you choose, you will also have regular calls, Whatsapp groups and one-to-one support, face-to-face sessions, help sheets, access to my app. This will all be detailed in the description of each option which can be found in the main menu.
Yes absolutely. Nutrition plays a large role in achieving your health and fitness goals. We will set nutrition targets and monitor these closely to ensure you stay on track. You will receive nutritional tips and advice from me during our sessions as well as having access to other tools and support at all times.
Although I can provide you with example meal plans, they typically don’t work very well. We all have different tastes and preferences when it comes to food. Clients are unlikely to follow a meal plan if it doesn’t include foods they like.
A better and more successful approach is to put together a daily calorie and macros goal. You will track the food that you consume throughout the day being able to see clearly if it is within your target amount.
I will also help you find lower calorie alternatives, guide you with ways of making healthier food choices, help you with portion sizes and recommend some great recipes, websites and cookbooks.
This may depend slightly on your specific goals. However we would typically use weekly pictures and measurements. For some clients we may also track weight, body fat percentage or steps towards a specific fitness goal.
Online Personal Training is more of a coaching approach to achieving your fitness goals. Instead of individual face-to-face training sessions, we work together online. We will use a combination of the Active Goals fitness app, Whatsapp, and video calls to stay in touch and progress towards your goal. The app will allow you to view your workouts, programme and track your nutrition, as well as entering progress photos and measurements. We will have regular calls and check-ins to discuss your progress, how well you’re getting on with the programme and anything else we can do to improve performance. We’ll set you up with a daily macros and calorie target in line with your activity levels and exercise. You will also get access to the same hints & tips and private Facebook group as all other clients to keep you motivated throughout.
If you need someone to be with you face-to-face at the gym to motivate you and give you the confidence to get through your workout then one of my in-person services would suit you best. Take a look at the 12 week transformation if you are ready and motivated to make a big change in a short amount of time. Alternatively, I also have Regular sessions available if you would like a certain number of sessions on a regular monthly basis to make more long-term progress.
If you are comfortable to perform the workouts on your own but need someone to put together a programme, track your progress, keep you motivated and hold you accountable to your goal – Online 12 week transformation – Online Personal Training might be the best option. This option is also best for people who are too far away from Milton Keynes to train with me in person.
For those that have a goal, are comfortable working out on their own and can motivate themselves to stay on track – Check out my Ignite Programmes. You will receive a new programme to follow every 6 weeks geared towards your fitness goal, a monthly call to check in and make sure you are on track and your macros calculated for you. You will also receive access to the Active Goals Fitness app to follow your workouts, track nutrition and upload your progress pictures & measurements.
Take a look at my Ignite programmes. These are perfect for people who want to make sure that they are following a well balanced programme aimed towards their fitness goal. You’ll receive a new programme every 6 weeks to keep your workouts interesting and continue to progress. You still receive a call from me, your trainer, every month just to check-in and make sure you are getting on well with the programme. This also gives you an opportunity to ask questions and receive training and nutritional advice.
You do not need to be in Milton Keynes to work with me. Take a look at the Online packages where we can work together remotely and still achieve your fitness goals.
Straight away. I think it’s important to harness your initial motivation as soon as possible. Even if, for some reason, we can’t schedule your first session or call immediately, let’s get talking and start making some progress as soon as possible.
Everybody is different and has slightly different goals. However we will set some specific and realistic goals very early on. We will be tracking against these throughout. As long as you follow my guidance, the workouts and the nutritional targets then you will succeed. Take a look at my reviews to see the successes I’ve had with other clients here.
I want all my clients to be happy with the service and results they are receiving. If for whatever reason you do decide that you need to take a break then simply give notice 2 days before your next payment is due and no more payments will be taken.
For the in-person services, where a session is booked, please give 24hrs notice if you need to re-schedule.
